We were in Bangkok from 1 to 4 Apr 2010. It was a shopping and eating trip, and of course to pamper ourselves with the massages.
On our third day there, the red camp moved to the major shopping district at the Siam area rendering the major shopping malls at the Siam and Chit Lom area closed.
Luckily, unlike what is happening now, it was a peaceful protest. They parked their vehicles in the middle of the main road and sat there.
Although the protest had distrupted our shopping at Paragon and Central @ Chit Lom, nevertheless, we are thankful that it was not violent then.
Thank God for that.
