Osaka Day 3 Part 2

Today, we went shopping at Shinsabashi, a major shopping area in Osaka.
Yoshi took us to this shop selling croquettes. It has been there for many decades. his mother took him there when he was in junior high school.

The food was fabulous. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very simple home cook meal kind, no frill and plain presentation.

When we saw the oil that the food was fried in, we know that this will be our last time there. The food was swimming in a pool of blackened oil.

Just wondered how long has the owner use the oil???
