Bento Breakfast
When I arrived at my office, I found the familiar Bento on my desk. When I lifted the lid, the delectable aroma of mushrooms met my nose, I was hungry instantly.
This time round, it was fried pasta with button mushrooms cooked in Chinese style. Very tasty and delicious. Again, Siew Boon also provided the ever potent chilli. Really like fireball in the mouth.
I must ask her to get some for me.

Tweety birds

When I checked it out, there were a few tweety birds perching on the branches of the bamboos. I could here a chorus of light tweety choir.
I love the green of my little garden in my balcony. There are passion fruits and now it even attacts little birdies to sing for us.
We are going to reorganized our garden a little so that we could have some stools and table out there. Looking forward to sip my coffee and read my book out there with the nature.

Another Bento
Another Bento left on my table by Siew Boon. She gave me so much bee hoon, hmm no wonder I'm overweight.
I am overweight
I just got my health check report and I am really disappointed that I am labelled an overweight. Any blind man can tell that I'm overweight from the layers of hardened fats round my mid-section. I told myself many times that I must start running, I guess this time round I've no choice but to force myself to do it.

Kampong Toilet
I went to a nursery to look at some plants last Sunday. Half way throught, I needed to go to the toilet
The toilet reminded me of a kampong (village) toilet.
When I closed the door, I was weary that there could be creapy crawlies behind the wooden door which was a common sight in a kampong toilet Thank goodness, there was none.
The squatting toilet bowl was very clean indeed and that was really different from a toilet in the kampong, which in the seventies was just a bucket. The bucket would be emptied every morning.
Most of us are living in affluence now that a sight such as this is one of the past. We should be grateful that we are living in comfort everyday. What else could we complain about?
Let's give thanks to every little thing that has made our life such a wonderful one.

Melty Kiss
I chanced upon this Royce look alike chocolate. This melty kiss by Meiji is very creamy and has a light rum taste as I've chosen the dark rum flavour.
It is not too sweet but if you eat too many at a time, the creaminess can be overbearing.
At about $3.50, it is very worth it for more than 10 individually wraped chocolates.
I would say it goes well with a cuppa coffee.

Fried Rice Paradise
Siew Boon left a Bento on my desk this morning. When I opened it, the golden yellow fried rice sprinkled with a kailedescope of green and orange greeted my eyes.
The chilli which accompanied the rice was superbly potent. It was like fireball in the mouth.
Like a glutton, I gobbled three quarters of it for breakfast, leaving the rest for tea. Ha Ha!
