Sunday Breakfast
I dunno what you call this pastry but I tell you, it is really yummy.
It is not oily and the filling is really tasty. A little spicy and frangrant.
I went to Rena's house-warming and she insisted that I bring back some as she knows that I love it.
That's why I had it for breakfast on Sunday.

A Saturday Letter
The joy of writing a letter , the old fashion way can be many. You could use nice letter papers with beautiful design, or you could even decorate your letters with stickers and decorative stamps. Or even draw on the letters, if you are artistic enough.
Sound fun? Why dun you send an old fashion letter to your love one this week. I am sure it will bring a smile on their face.

Scallops instant noodles
They were huge, sweet and juicy.
They tasted so good when we had it with the steam boat.
Here, I think I cooked them too long.
Tasted a bit hard and not as sweet, maybe they were no longer fresh.
What a waste!

My Granny
This year I made it a point to visit my Grandma first thing on first day of CNY.
Come think of it, I have not been visiting her since she passed on in 2007 near CNY.
I will make it a point to visit her every CNY from now on.
My Grandma taught me many things:
She taught me to be frugal and to be humble among many other things.
My Grandma led a very harsh and bitter life, my regret is not to give her a good life when I was financially independant.

Lee Shan is back, again
This is a get together dinner for advance valentine's day celebration as well as to welcome Lee Shan coming back to Singapore.
Lee Shan has been coming back so often from HK, infact like every two months.
She really hated the posting to HK.
Ha Ha!

Taken in Osaka
This photo was taken in Osaka many years ago,
I found it when I was clearing my drawer today.
Hmm... I look really young in this pic ...
Oh-man! how much have I aged?
Sunday Breakfast
but did not get my scones from Popeye Fast Food yesterday.
So I drove to Bedok Central Hawker Center and have my usual
"Peng Kuay" and "Soon Kuay", of course with my favourite "Kopi Siew Tai" ( Less Sweet ). Normally I would go for the "Jui Kuay" but today I went for the less oily stuff.
Simple Chinese breakfast, but I like!
